For this project, I aimed to design captivating visuals that would leave a lasting impression and capture attention. The project involved crafting visual graphics for billboards, truck wraps, and on-ground event signage. I utilized the client's color palette and developed food illustrations tailored for the food truck activations. The client successfully executed multiple mobile activations and outfitted five food trucks with the new design.

The goal of Vax for the Win is to raise awareness among the public in low English proficiency (LEP) and low-income areas with low vaccination rates. My responsibility was to design graphics for advertising, print, and web as part of a collaboration with the California Department of Health and the Governor's office. I created a range of pieces in various formats, including English and Spanish translations. The highlight of the project was securing a one-week billboard slot at The Reef in downtown Los Angeles, which is the largest billboard in LA, spanning over 850 feet wide and 50 feet tall. This billboard is estimated to reach roughly a quarter million people each week, targeting the hardest-to-reach communities facing north, east, and west.
The significance of this project lies in the potential to save lives. With Covid-19, especially the Delta variant, on the rise and causing an increase in Covid cases across all regions of California, this campaign aims to reassure those who are hesitant about getting vaccinated and offer an incentive to encourage them to play their part in reducing community transmission.
